Depending upon where you reside, we have Over-The-Road, Regional, Dedicated and Intra-State positions available. We can focus on custom tailoring lane selection for each driver to work with your home location and our customers to improve your opportunity for home-time. Orientation is held every Monday in Lake Wales, FL. Depending upon the division, orientation is 2-4 days. AM I PAID FOR ORIENTATION?

Other topics may be covered depending on the experience levels of the drivers in orientation. DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR A HOTEL ROOM?
No. Oakley Transport pays for a hotel room for you during orientation and training. I HAVE NEVER PULLED A TANK, DOES THIS DISQUALIFY ME FROM WORKING FOR OAKLEY TRANSPORT?
No. We train experienced drivers on safe driving, product handling, and pumping. HOW LONG IS THE TRAINING?
All drivers are evaluated throughout orientation to determine when to release them independently. Depending on the driver's experience, skill, and comfort level with pumps and procedures, training is an average of 3-5 additional days. I HAVE PULLED TANKER BEFORE BUT I HAVE NEVER PUMPED PRODUCT ON OR OFF THE
TANK. WHAT TYPE OF TRAINING WILL I HAVE TO GO THROUGH? Depending upon your comfort and skill level, additional pump training is available. The additional training is an average of 3-5 days. |
